Remembering; that to hold such a position of power,one must have came from a well educated and wealthy Eastern family....in Eastern terms and standards of period of time.

With that established wealth, the president, made self investments' and had sponsorship campaigns', to help him gain assets' to increase family status of wealth accumulation.

As seen across Europe, with other wealthy established political families', and business ventures of established ties'.

With the investments in Egypt, the president would have needed various well representing locations, to make viable investments of other outside own self interests of wealth, to keep his family in established earnings and credible living...that doesn't make him a thief.

Theft is tax of wealth...you can ask the contractors' that you are striking in protests of, about that theft.
