You do it then...if you are capable of handling billions of pounds worth of state funds'..with what, established accountants'...recording every spenditure you make......and recordings of decisive decisions of land economical fundings'...

People who are not in that position usually think...that politicians and political leaders are solely self motivated, because they themselves do not handle great sums' of money...and associate the great sums of money with self indulgences, when political leaders are not...they are usually working in the interest of the people....when more often then not.....in relation to receptions and social gatherings......there is usually a valid reason for the decisions and choices made....
