To have long nails' is also not a part of sunnah practices', though, if for medical reasons', like a lice infestation', bacterial infections such as acne, then it maybe necessary to apply force-nails for a while, or grow your own nails' to be able to help eradicate the pest, though it is better, to try to implement more natural means of delousing. Though it is better to stay away from such things that were not done and or practiced by the group and or followers of the prophet Mohammad peace and blessings be upon him.
