As for reading the Qu'ran, I read it twice a year...once in shaban and the other in Ramadan, and I always complete.

With valid excuse, then I can and or I am allowed to dis-engage in the fasting, but that doesn't mean I will dis engage in the reading of the Quran, without valid excuse, and even if that is the case, the days will be paid..... as they have always previously on times of valid excuses'.

Permitting by the will of Allah.
