Rubbish Collection
It is a concerning issue that black bin bags' allow so much space for utility rubbish to expand and freely move....with lots of air pockets', the amount of other space and metric units-this takes up in your bin bag, is amazing. You'll be surprised!
I stopped using them, I have resorted to the old fashioned measure of disposing my waste in small plastic bags', that hang, either at the front and or at the back kitchen door handle. Anything that goes in there, is folded down and or crumpled, it has reduced the amount of rubbish bag out put, and has reserved space in my outside dust bin collection unit.
In this, I have found that I have plenty of space left in my outside utility bin, and if everyone was to follow this routine, then there wouldn't be any need for a twice a week pick service that people are trying to aim for.
At the same time, reducing carbon admissions', and reducing the amount of space per metric unit, taken up on and in the land fill sites', with all the additional air space, inside the black bin bag routine of usage, the air alone, takes up huge amounts of space within the land fill sites of rubbish collections', making the rubbish sites appear far more heavy and larger then what they actually are, also allowing for pests to freely move amongst the rubbish..
With this simple method, the pest infestations would reduce dramatically, allowing the inner city spaces and other, to clean up their problematics of pests and other unwanted pests or vermin'. The space of collection of rubbish accumulations would reduce and, carbon admissions would also reduce.
I see to it that my food waste is disposed of in another bag, twisted, folded over and deposited inside the normal carrier bag hanging on the door, I have one up-stairs for sanitary waste too.
Thus I have plenty of room in my outside bin.
Before hand, when using black bin bags', I was having over spillage every week, and didn't know exactly what to do with it all. So I adapted a new, old way to create a cleaner environment and better management policy, and that is including all members' of house hold...thus on numerous occasions', more then six people in a week, on different days residing in the property......
These small bags go out everyday, tied and tightened, to save space in my outside bin unit and other unpleasantness'.
