Either way, there are many ways to establish Qu'aranic rulings without causing upset and or major offence.
If after, you deal with the situation in the appropriated Islamic mannerisms', with family members and or people still have and or other, still have issues' with you, then you have done your Islamic duty and family duty, and or called to the right path in the appropriated manner, thereafter, if they continue to subject you to dismissals and or break-ties', they are accountable on their terms' of arrogance's' and or other impending excuses', or they might have other agendas' in your interest', whereby, they themselves' can not leave the family unit, due to mix marriages' of other religous members' and conceal their faith identity, therefore by breaking ties', is more protective and or under protective issues', they release you, for your own benefit.
So yes, sometimes harams can be counteracted with rulings from the Qu'ran, as justifiable, due to impending difficult circumstances'.
